Inclusion

Our aim is to ensure that all children have access to the full curriculum and are able to achieve at the highest level. There are many ways in which we are able to support children who have special needs.

If the school has a concern about your child’s learning we will:

  1. Talk to the parents and discuss how both the school and parents could support the child
  2. Set up a programmed in school to support the child - school action
  3. Ask for the child to be referred to a specialist who is trained in the child’s specific needs e.g. speech therapist - school action plus

The governor who has responsibility for Special Education Needs is Shabana Begum.
